Our Chocolatier Josie

As an artisan chocolatier, Josie has always had an appreciation for fine chocolate, but her interest was really ignited about 8 years ago. After many years behind a desk in the corporate world, Josie truly looked for a career that would inspire her. She started reading articles on the origins and history of chocolate, watched demonstrations, and she researched recipes. It was than the light bulb was turned on! Josie decided she had a passion for chocolate making, and started pursuing her dream. It was after the chocolate courses when the real training began. After numerous nights and many “flops”, a chocolatier was born.

The thrill of creating from chocolate was very rewarding, and new inspirations for not only chocolate flavors, but all things made from chocolate attracted a clientele who not only appreciated quality, but liked to think outside of the box.

From the Calgary farmer's market in 2007, to her own chocolate shop in 2008.

In 2011, her business refocus is to provide all who crave quality at its' finest. Josie is currently creating her new inspirations in Athabasca, Alberta but is looking to soon have shops in Calgary and St. Albert. Her passion for chocolate creations is never turned off, which is why you will always find something new and different.
